Important health notice
Meal suggestions, GI/GL values, nutrient amounts, and possible post-meal responses are model estimates. They are not blood-glucose or laboratory measurements and do not constitute diagnosis, treatment, or individual medical advice. If you have diabetes, prediabetes, or another health concern, consult a qualified health professional.
1. About the Service
GlycoWave is a meal-logging and analysis app that offers:
AI meal analysis that estimates meal composition, GI/GL, and possible post-meal feelings;
a 15-minute post-meal walking companion with a dinosaur character;
a meal journal and trends; and
additional features available through a subscription.
2. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required where you live. Where required, a parent or guardian must authorize a minor's use.
No account is currently required. Meal records and profile details are stored on your device; AI inputs are transmitted to Google only after the consent described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for keeping your device and Apple Account secure.
3. Subscriptions and payment
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store, and Apple processes payment.
When you first open the app, you receive three calendar days of access to next-meal suggestions. This does not include all Pro features and does not create a paid subscription or charge you automatically. You must separately confirm any paid subscription with Apple.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. You can manage or cancel one in your iPhone's Settings under your Apple Account and Subscriptions.
Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, subject to applicable law and Apple's refund process.
4. Health limitations
The Service is not a medical device and does not measure blood glucose or replace a glucose meter or CGM.
AI estimates may be inaccurate and should not be treated as individual medical guidance.
If you have a condition that requires personal care, follow the advice of your healthcare professionals. Seek prompt medical help for urgent symptoms.
5. Your content and our app
You retain ownership of the photos, text, and feedback you enter.
You allow the app to process that content on your device to provide the Service and, after your explicit AI consent, to transmit the relevant inputs to Google Gemini for analysis.
The app, its design, and its marks belong to n239 or its licensors.
6. Prohibited conduct
Do not reverse engineer or decompile the app or attempt to extract API keys.
Do not automate requests, create large volumes of false data, or attempt to exhaust the Service's AI quota.
Do not use the Service in violation of applicable law.
7. Availability and changes
The Service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, connectivity, or quota limits.
When offline, the app may provide basic estimates from its local GI database.
Features, prices, and the interface may change. Paid subscription prices are shown by Apple before you confirm a purchase.
8. Limits of the Service
The Service is provided as available, and AI analysis may be incomplete or incorrect. To the extent permitted by applicable law, n239 does not guarantee uninterrupted access or the accuracy of estimates. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you in the app of material changes. Your continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms, subject to applicable law.
